The FealGood Foundation Introduces CANCER SCREENING with Inner Imaging
Some things you should know . . . .
Most Cancers are caused by abnormalities in the genetic material of cells. This frequently occurs due to the effects of carcinogens such as tobacco, radiation, chemicals, infectious agents and the terrible mix of silica and the multiple contaminants from the World Trade Center collapse. A poor immune system will make one even more vulnerable to cancers. Given the number of hours our members gave to this disaster it is no surprise that some have fallen victim to Cancers. If you participated in the 9/11 recovery the Foundation encourages you to take advantage of both tests.
Our preventive screening partnership with Inner Imaging has been very successful and it has helped a number of our members with diseases they were unaware of. Overall, Inner Imaging’s Body Scan has identified 123 diseases. It has also had 11 forms of Cancer confirmed. Your out-of-pocket cost is only $375.
TEST 1. Inner Imaging’s Body Scan has had the following Cancers confirmed:
- Thyroid Cancer
- Lung Cancers
- Liver Cancer
- Kidney Cancer
- Duodenal Cancer
- Prostate Cancer
- Stomach Cancer
- Uterus Cancer
- Small Bowel Cancer
- Colon Cancer
- Hairy Cell Leukemia
TEST 2. This year we are introducing a Cancer Screening Panel using biomarkers. The purpose of this blood work is to look for markers that suggest that cancer may be present. We were able to convince GHI, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and the Empire Plan to cover this. The co-pay is $30 if you have this coverage.
The Cancer Panel tests for the following:
- CA19-9, Serum (Proposed as a marker for Pancreatic Carcinoma)
- CA 125 (Proposed as a marker for Ovarian Cancer)
- CEA (Measures a protein in the blood for certain kinds of Cancers)
- Alpha Fetoprotein (Tumor Marker)
- Amylase Serum (Acute Chronic Pancreatitis)
- CMP (Tests for Diabetes).
- GGT (Tests for three forms of liver disease)
Call Inner Imaging for an appointment or information on both tests
