GSG Wins Public Affairs Campaign of the Year for 9/11 Health Bill Work
GSG Wins Public Affairs Campaign of the Year for 9/11 Health Bill Work Named One of Industry’s Top Agencies Global Strategy Group received top honors for Public Affairs Campaign of the Year at the 2016 Holmes Report SABRE Awards this week. The industry-leading SABRE Awards recognize superior achievement in branding, reputation, and engagement. The award recognizes our work with the FealGood Foundation and a coalition of 9/11 first responder organizations to successfully and permanently renew the James Zadroga 9/11 Health Bill. The campaign garnered extensive national media attention and raised public awareness that put the heat on Congress to pass the reauthorization. We are incredibly proud to have played a role in ensuring our 9/11 heroes get what they deserve – proper health care monitoring, treatment and financial compensation for more than 70,000 men, women and children – and are honored by the industry recognition of this award. GSG was also once again named one of the industry’s top agencies. Holmes Report CEO and founder Paul Holmes cited the firm’s significant growth and work on high-profile, national issues in business, politics, and the advocacy space as factors that have earned us this prestigious recognition year over year. The 2016 North America SABRE Awards winners were selected from among more than 2,000 entries in this year’s competition. The campaigns were evaluated by a jury of more than 40 industry leaders.
