9/11 survivors fight to survive related illnesses

MANHATTAN – Hundreds of first responders from Long Island rushed to the Twin Towers almost 13 years ago today. Those who lived through the terror attack are still struggling to survive.

Ray Pfeifer, of Hicksville, has a collection of Mass cards from the funerals of his fellow firefighters who died on Sept. 11, 2001.
